Due to the positive feedback from competitors, sponsors, organisers and show attendees in 2009 this is going to be incorporated into 2010's state and national finals. State finalists won't find out what ingredients they have to work with until the morning of their final. They'll have to devise a pizza on the stand using these, maybe some, maybe all...
The judges will mark all of these creations just as hard as the cheese and smallgoods sections and the finalists with the highest combined scores in across all three categories will go through to the national final in September.

Damon, the chef/owner of the Angaston Roaring 40's Cafe in the Barossa Valley of South Australia and last year's national winner is off to Las Vegas in March to compete against pizza professionals from around the world. The experience will be a tough one with pizza makers coming from heavy hitting pizza nations like the USA, Italy and more. Let's see if the Australian Pizza Team can win world title number 5 in 2010.
