The Dairy Farmers Best of the Best Pasta Challenge is the newest National Foods competition aimed at independent food service professionals in Australia.
The Challenge
- Pasta dishes must demonstrate the best use of the sponsors and other ingredients.
- One dish is your own creation, the other is from a black box decided on the day.
- A detailed entry form - including a detailed copy of your recipe - must be submitted prior to closing date.
- Pasta dough must be made fresh on the morning of the competition (State & National Finals).
- All successful applicants will be invited to participate in the relevant state preliminary cook-offs*.
- A maximum of 5 finalists per state will be chosen.
- Selected finalists must provide detailed recipes of all pasta entered prior to state and national finals.
- State final winners in each category will progress to the national final where only one overall national winner will be chosen maximum 5 competitors.
*All preliminary cook off dates and locations to be confirmed and communicated to all successful applicants.
